Our Story
Pebbles Pure Bites was born from a place of love and necessity. Seven years ago, my first rescue dog struggled with severe skin issues. While some were breed-related, a closer look at his diet revealed the impact of commercial treats packed with artificial additives, fillers, and preservatives. That realization changed everything. I started crafting my own dog treats using simple, natural ingredients and the traditional methods passed down through my family kitchen—methods I learned growing up with my grandma, cooking from scratch with purpose and love.

A New Chapter
Then life threw me a few curveballs—one being a serious accident that forced me to stop and really examine where I was headed. Sitting in self-pity wasn’t going to change anything. If I wanted a better future for my son, I had to be better. I had to show him what it means to keep going, to work hard, and to do the right thing—even when no one’s watching.
That’s when everything clicked. My love for dogs, my years in the kitchen, and the realization that truly wholesome treats—free from mystery ingredients and artificial junk—were far too hard to find. Pebbles came into my life right at that turning point. She wasn’t just another dog—she was a spark, a reminder of joy and simplicity, and the final puzzle piece I didn’t know I needed.
Pebbles Pure Bites became more than just homemade dog treats. It became a promise: to create products that are honest, high-quality, and transparent—treats that I’d feel good giving to my own dog, and that others in the Comox Valley (and beyond) could trust completely. From Courtenay to Cumberland, Comox to surrounding island towns, we’ve grown one batch at a time—guided by purpose, love, and integrity.

At the heart of it all is my son—my biggest inspiration. This isn’t just a business; it’s a way to lead by example. I want him to see that passion, perseverance, and doing good in the world matter. That even when things are hard, we keep showing up. Every time I fill a bag of treats, I’m reminded that small, thoughtful choices can lead to something bigger—better health for our dogs, stronger communities, and the kind of life I want to build for us both.
Every recipe is tested by Pebbles herself, and every treat is crafted in small batches by hand with natural, dog-safe ingredients—no shortcuts, ever. Our products are sealed for freshness, labeled with care, and designed to meet a variety of dietary needs, including gluten-free and senior-friendly options.
